The Clinton-Macomb Public Library (CMPL) is a district library serving a
rapidly growing population of over 150,000.
Formed in 1992, CMPL directly serves all of the residents of Macomb Township
and most of Clinton Township, with the exception of the portion in the Mount
Clemens School District, which is served by Mount Clemens Public Library. CMPL is mostly funded by local property taxes from residents of Clinton and Macomb Townships.
CMPL is a member of the Suburban Library Cooperative, encompassing 20
libraries in the cities and townships north of Metro Detroit.
Our mission: The Clinton-Macomb Public Library connects people of all
ages to resources that inform, educate, entertain and inspire.
