What should my child be doing?

  • Reading aloud to your baby/child helps to stimulate brain development.

  • Your child can listen to simple stories.

  • They can follow simple commands.

  • Identify some body parts, objects & pictures when named. 

  • Your child is beginning to use 2-3 word phrases.

  • Ask simple questions. 

  • He or she can begin to understand the differences in meaning by age 2-3.

  • Your child can pretend to read books.
