Puppet TheatreThe puppet theatre is the focal point of the Main Library's children's room. With it's whimsical paint style, different textures and colors, it invites children to play and imagine. The puppet theatre was donated by the Kiwanis of Clinton Township.











Friends Header Book Sale Leadership Picture

The Friends of CMPL is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to improving library services through underwriting programs and special projects.  They hold several fundraisers including seasonal book sales, book bundles, and library tote bag sales.

The Friends group is led by president, Mary Russo and meets the second Tuesday of most months at 7 pm at the Main Library (meetings are not mandatory).

Gift Giving
The Friends of the Library have been very generous in awarding gifts to the Clinton-Macomb Public Library.  Their most recent gifts include:

  • 2010-2011 fiscal year programs
  • Books for Library Card Sign Up Month

Book Sale Information
One of the largest fundraisers the Friends group conducts is the semi-annual book sales. Volunteers are needed year round to help with our sales. Please contact the Friends of CMPL at (586) 226-5005 for more information.

Used Book Sales
The Friends of the Clinton-Macomb Public Library host two large-scale book sales each year at the Main Librarym but did you also know that you can get used books in between sales? The Friends supply the Library Gift Store at the Main Library with copies of the best of the donations. You can get a great deal on used books and book bundles at the Library Gift Store.
