Main Library computers
The Main Library offers:

• Free wireless internet access to all card-holders.  Wireless customers must provide their own computer with a wireless card. 

• 24 computers in the computer lab

• 8 computer stations in the Adult Services department

• 4 computer stations in the Popular Materials department

• 1 computer with assistive software for low vision needs

• 8 stations in the Children's department with low-filtering and access to the Microsoft suite of office products.

Each customer is guaranteed the use of a computer for 1 hour a day.  The lab provides access to the internet and the Microsoft office suite of products (MS Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint). 

South Branch computers
The South Branch offers 8 internet-only stations where customers are guaranteed 1 hour of computer time a day, and one express station for 15 minute intervals of computer time. 

Personal Access Management System (PAMS)
To sign on to any computer at any CMPL location, customers must use their library card.  Each library card can control the level of internet filtering the customer desires (for minors under 18 years of age, low-filtering is mandatory).  Library cards also work as debit cards for printing costs.
