		Donate Materials The library happily accepts book and media donations with the exception of magazines and textbooks. Items are reviewed for possible addition to the collection. Materials not added are given to the Friends of the Library for their used book sale. The library accepts donations during regular business hours. Tax donation receipts are available upon request. Please call (586) 226-5007 with any additional questions. Financial Contributions Some people prefer to make a financial contribution to the library. Monetary donations in the form of cash or check are accepted at all library locations. Individual and corporate sponsorships, legacy funds, and named gifts are all an important source of funds. Library director Larry Neal (586-226-5011) would be pleased to speak with anyone interested in these types of donations. Memorials and Bequests The library does accept donations to purchase books for the library as a memorial for a person. Library staff choose books that reflect the interests of the honored person and a bookplate with that person's name is added to the book. An acknowledgement of this gift is sent to the donor. If you wish to inquire on making a bequest to the library, please contact library director Larry Neal (586-226-5011).
