Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to try their hand at book-making at the Main Library on August 4 at 2:30 p.m. Call (586) 226-5030 or visit the Main Library's event calendar to register for this event.
PAWS for Reading is a program that has caught on in schools and libraries nation-wide to help youngsters become successful readers. Specially-trained therapy dogs help improve the literacy skills of children by providing a fun atmosphere where kids can be confident reading aloud and interacting with the animals.
