Get S.M.A.R.T. About Goal Setting and Spending

Event Type: Adult Programs
Date: 5/6/2013
Start Time: 6:30 PM
Having a process for setting thoughtful and realistic goals and an active plan for guiding the spending decisions to achieve those goals is good money manners! It increases the probability of reaching our goals without getting derailed or experiencing unplanned negative consequences. In this third part of the series you’ll learn how to set goals using S.M.A.R.T criteria and develop a personal spending plan to meet those goals. Many of our goals are better reached by growing our money; others by saving and preserving it. Examples on how to allocate your money to meet your shorter-term goals and to reach your longer-term goals will be presented.
