The Main Library is home to a beautiful mural, hand-drawn and painted by artist Dennis Orlowski. The mural depicts the history of Clinton and Macomb Townships and includes special touches, such as people affiliated with the building of the Main Library. Orlowski used the theme of transportation to move the history of the mural forward. Orlowski is an art teacher in the Detroit Public Schools. The mural was a gift from the William W. Lee Family.
