LTD Fund

The Library Technology Division is fortunate to have its own dedicated fund that supports the Division’s activities. This fund was established several years back with monies donated by the Librarians Using Computers users group. The purpose of this fund is to help supplement the regular funds the Division receives from your membership in LTD and attendance at Division programs and workshops. Judicious use of this fund has allowed the Division to enhance the programs we offer to all of our members.

The LTD Fund has been used to sponsor nationally recognized speakers for Division programs and workshops. The Fund sponsored Carrie Bickner Zeldman’s presentation at the 2003 Annual Conference. Earlier this year, the Fund covered the costs to digitally audiotape our Spring Workshop. This allowed Division members who could not attend the Workshop the opportunity to go online later and hear the speakers while viewing the accompanying PowerPoint presentations. Thanks to the financial support of the LTD Fund, LTD members were able to enjoy these programs at no additional cost.

While LTD is fortunate to have this resource available, the Fund does not have a dedicated source of funding. It takes contributions from Division members like you to keep the Fund financially strong. Any amount helps and donations are fully tax-deductible.

By making a donation to the LTD Fund, you make your Division membership that much more valuable. Help us continue our record of excellence and quality service to our members with a contribution today.

Contributions can be sent to:

Michigan Library Association
1407 Rensen Street, Ste. 2,
Lansing, MI 48910

Checks should be made out to the Michigan Library Association. Please make sure to specify that your contribution is for the Library Technology Division Fund. If you want to keep your donation anonymous, please indicate that with your donation.
