Macomb Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped @ CMPL


Macomb Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped serves all residents of Macomb County, who qualify, by providing audio books and players, large print books, equipment that enlarges text, equipment for printing Braille materials, and more.
  • All services are free.

Programs
  • Adaptive Technology Computer and VoiceOver iPhone and iPad Classes begin this Spring. Please call 586-286-1580 for details.

  • Join the Books into Movies Winter Reading
    Program. It begins February 3 and runs through March 29. Call 586-286-1580 to register.

  • Music at Main featuring The Moxie Strings will take place at the Main Library on Sunday, March 30 at 2pm. This concert is free and open to the public.

  • Learn about Michgan Opera Theatre's A View from the Bridge, based on Arthur Miller's play on Thursday, March 20 at 6:30pm at the Main
    Library
    . Michael Yashinski from the Michigan Opera Theatre will discuss how this play was turned into a rock opera and play excerpts from the jazz and early rock 'n' roll score. Registration begins 6. Call 586-226-5020 to register.

Individuals may visit the IRS Accessibility page to download forms, publications, and other products and to access tax-related videos in English and American Sign Language. The IRS recommends checking the website often as it is continuously adding more products to assist persons with disabilities.
